Mind your surroundings when copy/pasting or putting up screenshots. You're an oper you have access to more information then others and dont realize it half the time. Check to make sure you're not posting a user's IP or their /whois in general (as an oper's /whois shows the "secret" channels a user is in.

Do NOT show any server IPs, link blocks, or configs to another user. Don't put any of these files on a machine that another user outside of the IRC-nERDs administration has access to.

Admin Override? If ya wanna keep it, dont abuse it. Don't use it in channels that arent yours without good reason. Don't blindly use it, stop, think and figure out whats happening a situation and make sure it requires your use. Not sure? Ask sorcerer or Foxy.

VHosts Rules:

Projects: Must be approved by sorcerer. Do not give out project vhosts unless you know they are involved with an official project and sorcerer has confirmed it. vhosts for projects:

@projects/<project-name>/<account-name>

Example:

-- [SpAwN] (HeLlSpAwN@projects/idlerpg/hellspawn): ZNC - https://znc.in

Do NOT Approve hosts:

  • Anything government policing (ie. fbi.gov, cia.gov, etc) related or racist.
  • No "localhost" or 127.0.0.1
  • Must Not refer to other networks/spamming; join.my.channel come.to.irc.blahblahblah.net
  • Must Not contain the words 'forum', 'ircop', 'admin', 'network', or any IRCop's nick
  • Must not refer to "kiddy"-like activity. (dosing, rooting, "carding," etc.)

Report any issues/questions to sorcerer or f (Foxy)

If anyone wishes to link to our PyLink first have them fill out the application then contact sorcerer to discuss.
For all other pylink questions direct the user to either sorcerer or ComputerTech on IRC.

[If Anyone Asks]: Not accepting server links. We have enough servers. Not accepting opers, need ALOT more users first. (Certain exceptions may be granted per sorcerer, will depend on variables.)
